Where would I go to find out what the age of majority for purposes of a UTMA passing to the minor named as the owner? I know it is different from state to state but find conflicting language on the legal websites and have asked our family practice lawyers and they referred me to the Bank that holds the account, who says that it depends on the state that the account was opened.
