Two antivirus on one computer

I'm using Avast antivirus and as far as I can tell it works well, but I heard that AVG 7.5 free is better. I want to install it without removing Avast, is it possible?

I have 4   {1} Spyware Doctor  {2} Advanced Windows Care  {3} Avg Free I like Because of EM scanning  {4} Spybot search and destroy  I get no conflict. But they all are not necessary. SPY DOCTOR Does A better Job since it does so many things . If you run 2 or more and you have a conflict You can disable and run one at a time. I do the same with Register cleaners But i double check what is being cleaned . I would never run any product without a restore point exception may be CCleaner my experience with it has been safe.

YES you are  all right i had used avast and avg antiviruz at the same time...not necesary to disconnect one for to install the other one....[tip] this is the only one antivirus thst dont crash your sistem and can work toguether ,,,,withous  problem''''but.......  but! dont  intend  this  with norton or  others comercial antivirus because  these are very agresive and  is sure  crash  your   system....the unique antivirus ....then  can work  at the same time are  Avast and AVG ...because  ar not  too agressive like comercial antivirus but  this have the option  to maintain your computer secure///i have more of 5 year using this  joint!! and  are very very effective! dont  worry  you can install  both[apart]  look for [spywareterminator for  complete coverage security and  spywareblaster] too the antipiware can work joint  without any problem.................say to me how was your  system after instalation [bluetiger358@yahoo.com] good look friend!!

Dear, I find Avast much better than AVG. But you can try AVG but first just disable Avast.
