Twitter is one of the most powerful and fun communication tools on the earth today.  You can share everything from what you are eating for breakfast to finding simple answers to complicated questions from people that WANT to help with no strings attached.  Twitter is about joining like minds, discovering new friends and collaborating with people just like you.

With 8 million strong and growing nearly exponentially every month, twitter is a safe environment for personal expression.  Participate, listen and learn what ever you want right here right now.  Millions of people's "tweets" or status updates are delivered to your desktop in real time.  Its the heartbeat of thoughts and activities occurring in the present moment.  If there is important prime time news happening, you will know before any other major news source.

Twitter is appropriate for any person, any age, any where.  Its about connecting with others, joining a conversation and building a network of like minds who share your interests.

Imagine what it would mean to you if 1 million other people really wanted to know "What you are doing" thinking or saying, right now! The possibilities are endless. Twitter is a place where everyone can be heard and everyone can listen.

All the best,

Just make one and if you don't like how it works then you don't.

It's like making other people know what you're currently doing by posting updates on your account which will be read by those who are following you. could be a good tool for marketing.

60% of people start twitter and drop off. So it's not for everyone. But I think the reason why people find it so difficult to use is because they don't know where to find all the tools which make twitter usable. Here's a suggestion. Go to Mashable.com and search for twitter. They literally list 200 tools and what they do to help you. My favorite tools?  Power Twitter, Tweet Deck and Search.Twitter.com.

Enjoy!

Twitter is also being used nowadays by businesses and companies to advertise their products. I just read that Dell increased their revenue with the help of their Twitter page. So maybe it's just not tweens who use Twitter. It's for anyone.
