can i hook my cable up to my computer and watch tv thru my computer. if there is away could you please explain how to do this and what i might need to do it
This depends on some variables -
For this you need to know, which TV (LCD or otherwise)
Does your computer have a Video Card which can support the TV's resolution ?
Do You have a TV card inside your computer?
If your TV has HDMI port, then you should get the video card (or motherboard) which also has HDMI port in it. Then connect the TV via this port (to transmit sound as well)
The TV card will allow you to capture TV shows from an analog or digital connection through an antenna or transmitter of some sort that may have been given to you.
You connect everything in the right ports, and it should work
Here are a couple of websites that have TV and movies that you can watch, without hooking up any cables, just watch on your computer. Good Luck>
