Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Truvia is made with Stevia, which is an extract from a South American herb.  It has been around for a long time, but only recently got approval for use as a sweetener from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

There has long been controversy as to whether Stevia can cause cellular mutations in humans.  Previous recommendations were that it not be used in great quantities.
