Can You Trust The People Who Run Our Country , Are Substance Abuse free?

I don't trust Obama because he's trying to change America into a Socialist country. He's ruining America. He is surrounded by questionable Czars who he appointed. What a mess!!! I wished those people who elected him are noticing the CHANGE that he has promised. This is the CHANGE for the worst!!!!!

Great question and cries out for an honest answer.  So here we go.  First, let us all remember that the 1960's and 70's were the flower children years.  As I grew up in those years a real man was someone who smoked and was a two fisted drinker.

There were a lot of opportuinities to use and/or try out the various drugs and they were all readily available.  So, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama admitting that they trued mood-altering-substances in their earlier years came as no surprise to me.

Now, Bill Clinton, I have great respect for his political decisions and his tremendous track record for negotiations with difficult problems and in many cases arrogant opponents.  As far as his personal womanising and his relationship with Hillary, my only comment is that Bill and Hillary have an obviously strong bond and love that keeps them together.  Although I don't agree with some of their indiviual choices because non of them have been known to negatively impact any of their political decisions.  Accordingly, it is my opinion that Bill Clinton will go down in history as one of our best presidents.

Now lets talk about Barack Obama, to begin with, it is my opinion as a forensic and ecconomist that we would all be dealing with a depression right now if he had not been elected president.  Keeping in mind that our children and grandchildren are next in line to bring the U. S. A. back to being being respected both at home and throughout the world Obama's parenting skills and devotion impress me greatly.  The diversity of his knowledge and willingness to surround himself with advisor's who are not affraid of expressing their opinions gets him another "A" in my book.  Obama's energy level is already know by how vigorously he has met a vast number of problems head on both at home and around the world.

Lastly, his choices of strong willed and experienced advisors and cabinet members tells me he is a team player and I have no problem in saying Obama is on his way to becoming America's greatest president.

Brother in Arms, THAT is the question. The question really is does one really believe that his is in the land of Liberty or is this a land of changing and redefining mandated LAW; The current American Democracy?

This IS a Republic, NOT a democracy!!!

My take on this is that my final current destination is The Hauge, Netherlands to request the world court for their Service and Protection while I---and many other displaced and abused General Average Person Citizens---The GAP Citizenry as I've coined Us. Are the forgotten Benefactors of the true Third-Party Trust these (sic) "civil servants" are sworn by duty and OATH to protect and defend against all enemies, foriegn and domestic, as the true unaltered, unadulterated Constitution of America clearly states everyone to obey [ And not this Constitution of the United States of America, Inc. either!]

My personal PROACTIVE View is this: As a defrauded GAP Citizen of America I(We) have two simple requirements of citizenship to America. (1.) To Obey the Law. (2.) To Report Crimes against the public trust. Meanwhile, our ruling authorities have a mountain of mandatory responsibilities to both the People of America and Our legal Instuments of Mandated Rulings which not only legally obligate them to service the contract they have obligated themselves to---by accepting public office---oaths to perform the duties of office. Simple fact my confused Brother John.

The first thing that must happen to every last one of these criminals is a two fold obligation to the people and our trust is this: First, is removing the protections of political and diplomatic immunity clauses!--across the board. Second, and just as importantly is the mandatory requirement to submit to drug and alcohol urine testing in order to even be consiered for public office. With these two mandates in place that should do away with about 99% of these lieing idiots who have become so entrenched in the public domain that they are a danger to the whole earth, not just the country we own---"Lock, stock, and barrel."

@Undertaker - I can best answer your question with a question of my own. Within the Catholic church are clergymen who were sexually abusing children for years, young boys in their congregation.   Can you trust the people in the Vatican whose duty is to ordain ministers?   How about Christian leaders such as Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Baker, both married men, were having sexual relations with women in their ministries, and using donations to buy luxury items for themselves.  Oh and let’s not forget Jim Jones and David Coresh; “spiritual” Christian leaders who were responsible for deaths of all the members in their ministries. So now I ask you, can you trust any Christian leaders?

Whether you can trust a politician is not related to  what he did as a student or as a young man. Unless they totally fried their brain and then they would not be able to run for office. Most of those who experimented with drugs fortunately lived through that, thank God.  What you need to be concerned about now is what they stand for and what they are doing to our country.  All the comments already given speak to this end. Some speak favorably and some unfavorable for that paraticular person. I cannot add anything to their wisdom. My accent is on today! Don't worry about yesterday, it's today that  we must be concerned about.
