Hi mdd17d.  I can't believe how long ago you posted this question and haven't gotten one answer! How do some of our questions get missed for so long?!!

Here is a verse that came to me immediately, it's in John 16:33 Jesus said; "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

The entire Book of John is so wonderful. Jesus is wonderful. If you know Him, really know Him, personally, and aspire to be like Him, your troubles here on earth will always be manageable through Him.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
