Trouble logging into facebook

Most times when I log into facebook, it says' Internet Explorer cannot display this page'. I try different search engines and repeatedly sign in, but only randonly does it actually connect me with facebook. This is REALLY annoying because it takes me about 5-10 minutes just to sign in! Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks

I think your connection is slow. You have to check and ask your internet provider about that. Try to type www.facebook.com or facebook only at the navigation tool bar or the address bar. Sometimes facebook are reconstructing their site. You have to understand them.

Your Internet Explorer could have some incorrect settings in it. My suggestion is to follow my advice to reset it. Above all, do not use Internet Explorer and use Firefox at your earliest opportunity.

  1. Open IE.
  2. Go to the TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS
  3. Click the CONNECTIONS tab and remove ANY connections listed there. You don't need them.
  4. Click the ADVANCED tab and click the RESET button. Click OK/YES on any prompts.
  5. Click the SECURITY tab and press the button Default or Set all zones to Default level .
  6. Click the GENERAL tab and about half-way down under Browsing History, click DELETE . Click OK and wait for it to complete.
  7. Shutdown and restart your computer.

After following those steps, you should be able to access Facebook. Please do not use IE, instead, upgrade to Firefox. It's a better browser - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ .

Follow the steps:

Open Internet Explorer 7 and then click on the Tools menu.

Next, click on the Delete Browsing History option in the menu that appears.

Now, in the Temporary Internet Files section at the top of the window that appears, click the Delete Files button.

Wait a few seconds for the files in the Temporary Cache to delete (the amount of time it takes depends upon the size of the cache and the number of files stored in it).

Now click close and then restart Internet Explorer 7 and then try again to login on facebook.
