Our Troops Are Dying In Record Numbers. Where Is Obama?

Obama is sending out invites to Hollywood elites for a State Dinner.

EXCLUSIVE: If tradition stands, the details of the guest list will be revealed only a few hours before the Obama administration's first state dinner tomorrow. The welcome for India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be the biggest social event of the Obama White House. Already the Washington DC press corp is buzzing about the "got-to-be-there" fever. But this first dinner is primarily a thank you to the Obamas' most important political supporters. So I've learned that, among the Hollywood contingent asked to attend, are onetime DreamWorks partners David Geffen, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg; Sony Pictures Entertainment chairman Michael Lynton; and WME Entertainment Agency co-CEO Ari Emanuel.

Spielberg's inclusion is interesting since he was a muchballyhooed Hillary Clinton supporter during the first months of her primary campaign when she looked like a sure thing, then quietly threw his clout behind Obama after he became the clear winner. But, given that the guest of honor is India's highest ranking statesman, Spielberg's new financial relationship with India's giant corporation Reliance more than explains his presence. Geffen was an early Obama backer who publicly took on the Clintons with pointed criticism at the start of the primary season. Katzenberg was not an early bird, but he became a faithful fundraiser. Both he and Geffen were considered Obama's biggest Hollywood bundlers during the campaign.

Lynton was a longtime supporter primarily because of the influence of his wife Jamie whose Chicago family has longtime political connections to the Obamas. Her mother Joanne Alter, the first female Democrat elected in Cook County, talent-spotted Obama in 2003 and convinced her daughter to support him. As a result, Lynton co-hosted an early fundraiser for Obama’s Senate bid in 2004 in addition to hosting one of the earliest Hollywood campaign events for him when most showbiz types were still supporting Hillary. (Will.i.am, who composed the viral video for the Obama campaign anthem “Yes, We Can,” met the candidate during a fundraiser at the Lyntons' home.)

And Chicago native Emanuel not only was one of Obama's first Hollywood political and financial backers, but, like duh, his brother Rahm is the White House chief of staff. They'll join the President and First Lady and 400 guests in an elaborate tent erected on the South Lawn. As for who has been chosen to provide the evening's entertainment, this White House has shown eclectic taste: Stevie Wonder already has played a concert in the East Room, Marc Anthony already took to the South Lawn for an evening of Latin music, and the Foo Fighters played the Fourth of July party.

U.S. Deaths in Afghanistan Hit New High - CBS News

October deadliest month for US in Afghan war - Yahoo! News

Under the failing leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the number of flag draped caskets grows

Without Bush, media lose interest in war caskets

With the deaths of 8 more U.S. soldiers, PrezBO has solidified his position as the most abject failure as Commander in Chief in U.S. history.  Under his watch, more troops have died in Afghanistan this year than in any other year of the conflict, with more dying this year than the first four years of the Bush command combined, and we still have to endure nearly three more months of BHO at the helm in 2009.  Troops are dying in record numbers, because he has no apparent plan of action, no identifiable goal to achieve, cutting the military budget, profound lack of leadership and pandering to the liberal media.
The liberal mainstream media has given their chosen one a free pass, by no longer covering the returning soldiers, lest they tarnish his image.
James Earl Carter is smiling, knowing that he will no longer be remembered as the worst President, since BHO has surpassed his record of failures in less than a year.

One must ask themselves WHO STARTED BOTH WARS IN THE MIDDLE-EAST? Maybe it was Obama? Do you think that it was Obama? Nah, you could not be that blind. Thousands of American lives have been lost in a losing battle, AND FOR WHAT? What is so important that we have to send the brightest and the next generation to war? Lots of questions my friend. Maybe you are getting upset with the truth. You know that truth truly hurts when it points out the power structure that failed us Americans. Now, another important question that I hope that you will answer, but maybe you can't or won't. The question goes this way. With the thousands of troops coming home, for a short respite before being shipped back again for another tour, how many are coming home minus arms, legs and brains from their injuries serving their country? It is a sad commentary that we had a man called Bush who had no daughters or sons to fight HIS both wars, isn't it? Michael Joel Held

The best minds are not in government. If any were, business would hire them away. - Ronald Reagan

President Obama needs to sit down and get his priorities together, and learn to multitask.

I have stated this months ago, the American people are going without and the American people have cut back on expenses. Why can't the President show an example that the White House is cutting back also. All we see is he is going to shows in New York, dinners. We need to see a President that rolls up his sleeves and comes along side of the people and shows he is a part of us!

I think some people need to remember why we got into a war in Afghanistan. That was where the headquarters of the terrorist group, Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden were when some of there members hijacked planes and attacked the Twin Towers as well as the Pentagon. And that was before the Bush liberal bashers began their campaign to discredit everything that our President did even before he did it. The only mistake Bush made in the war on Iraq was not having an exit strategy when we removed Saddam. The people in those countries love war and for many of them it has become a way of life. When I came home from Vietnam I had all my arms and legs but many of my fellow soldiers did not and yet I was spit on by people in America led by the media and clowns like you Michael Joel Held. There are no half measures in fighting a war. You either do all that you can to win or you may as well hold up a white flag and let the other guy take all they want to meet their goals.

In this case the goals of the terrorist are to destroy our way of life and kill the people who are not Moslem and thereby spread Islam. They are intolerant to you weak Bush bashers as they see negotiations as a weakness to be exploited. Yes they will make a deal and then shoot you before you leave the negotiation table. I see that you believe in the Declaration of Independance but the fellow now the President has never said any of the words from our forfathers and sue does not go along with our Constitution. In all of his speaches and he has had many, not one quote from either of those documents. People like you keep talking about how many young men have been killed or wounded in this war overseas but that number has never come close to the number lost in Vietnam or Korea or World War II and those also kept the war away from our doors.

The current President is busy campaigning, smoking cigerettes, and flying around the world apologizing for the US.  The only type of military enforcement he understands is the behavior of Mafia type acitivity that surround his background in politics in Northern Illinois where if someone is a danger to his future he has thugs take care of the problem and looks squeaky clean.  He has no military training.  The very battle against terrorism we are trying to fight is in conflict with the countries he is wanting to befriend.

And someone let him take a position at the UN with the Security Council?  This is a direct conflict of interest as his duties as president of our country.  He has named advisors who hold the beliefs of the very dictatorships we are supposed to be fighting against.  Naturally he can't direct our soldiers or put in a strong military campaign against the very type of government he is hoping to establish in his own country.

Remember the song that goes, "counting flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all, smoking cigerettes and watching Captain Kangaroo, don't tell me I've nothing to do"?  Well, he is counting illegal immigrants he can get amnesty for to help move his "thugs" into the country, smoking cigerettes in a building owned by the citizens who can't smoke a cigerette in a local park, and watching the way his friends in dictatorship type government overseas handle a people not willing to bend and trying to figure out how to install that form of government in this country while smoke screening his behavior with the citizens by mouthing nonsense to attempt to convince us he is taking appropriate action in military decisions.  He wants us to fail overseas and at the cost of those individuals who believed enough in freedom and our Consitution to enter the military in hopes of preserving and protecting those rights.  If they die overseas because of a poorly handled "war" they will never come home to be a threat to the principals and policies he is trying to install on the home front.

Gee, do I sound like I don't like this man?

"I have met the enemy, and he is us!"-Pogo

There is only one type of "good" Liberal, and that is an out-of-office Liberal!

In my humble opinion, in order to get any type of perspective on Obama's views on being Commander-in-Chief, you need to look no further than the Vietnam War and the misconduct of the anti-war, left-wing radicals that undermined and eventually destroyed America's ability to conduct that war. This is the "School of Thought" that Obama adheres to and his belief that America "has much to apologize for" is the foundation of his Foreign Policy and his War-time "strategy".

Obama and his supporters have no intentions of winning the "War on Terror"! Obama is more-than-likely looking for ways for the U.S. to leave the battlefield with our collective tails between our legs, yet professing that we have disengaged "with honor"!

Obama is a withering ditherer Ditherer-in-Chief

"To dither or not to dither ..." -

President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

Obama's stalled in making decisions on behalf of our Nation and is he not putting us back in Harm's Way all over again? What are your feelings?

Islamic leaders are taking our country from within and many politicians are in bed with them. How is Hollywood going to help us? We need to hold them legally responsible even treason against America. People need to realize we are being attacked from within by Muslims.
