Cycling is geat, but if its icy, dark or we it can be dangerious. Jogging is good but can be hard on tke knees, rowing machine is superb! Dont buy a cheep one though, go to a gym and use a Concept II, it may be tough at first, but soon you will see the benefits and start to get addicted!

Hello

Do cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes, 4- 6 times/week. And also cut out foods that are high in saturated fat from your diet.

I would first start out by making sure you are eatting right and getting the nutrition you need.  Also I would start eatting smaller meals every 3 to 4 hours and try to get 5 to 6 meals a day in.  This will cause your metabolism to speed up and start working all the time.

Next I would start a workout plan.  You want to add a little strength training (working out with weights) and you want to add cardio in too.  Working out with weights and building more muscle will also speed up your metabolsim and cause you to burn more calories naturally. The cardio will help you to burn extra calories as well.

Now on a fat loss diet you want to watch your calories, and I suggest doing a cycle of calories through out the week.  Say 5 days are low calorie days, then you have one moderate day somewhere in there and one high calorie day somewhere in there too.  This is a trick to help your body burn fat at a consistant rate and keep it from adding extra fat cells.  If you stay on a low calorie diet for too many days straight your body starts to think it is starving. So by adding a moderate day and high calorie day you will tell your body you are not starving.

I also recommend going to this site and reading some articles about weight training and burning fat the best ways.  It will help you on your path to sucess.
