The Tree That Time Built: A Celebration of Nature, Science, and Imagination is this book a look into evolution? Is this a good source for factual information or is it more information out of the authors' imagination?
This book is really not to be taken so seriously. It is a children’s book for kids 9-12 years of age. There is a good review on Amazon.com Follow this link for more information from Amazon.com
Are you sure that that's source and not simply a demented case of sink?
I have no idea, and I have no reason to read it but I will say that to take any scientific statement at its face value without second and third sources is a recipe for trouble.

The very best book about evolution is The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins. Published in 2009. Evolution clearly is the secret to the origin of man-- Homo Sapien.
