First thing I would do is buy one or two extra batteries for when you aren't near an outlet. Extra batteries are expensive but well worth the cost because nothing is more annoying then having your "ONLY" battery go dead right in the middle of something.

Second, I would make sure that I packed the adapter so you could recharge the batteries whenever you have the opportunity to do so.

Third, buy an adapter for the car (if you are traveling by car) so you can use the car battery to power up your computer. They plug right into a cigarette lighter or other power point in the vehicle. Last time I was on an airplane it didn't have a powerpoint to plug into, but in the past some of the airlines I've flown on do have the ability to plug a power adapter (just like the ones used in cars) in.

If you are traveling out of the country remember that power is 220 in other parts of the world and you would need to go to your local computer store and talk to someone about the necessary adapter you would require for your particular laptop to function correctly.

Hope this helps.

To have an excellent mobile computing experience, you would need to have an extra battery in order to lengthen computing time. This will really be handy especially when no power outlet is available in the vicinity or establishment. You might also want to purchase a mobile Internet connection that would only use the USB port. Most of it are available in small sizes similar to a flash disk, ideal for mobile use. Also, don't forget to buy a dependable laptop bag. It does not only protect your computer from scratches and dents. It also lengthens the life span of your machine.Happy trip.
