A:My suggestion is to avoid travelers check at
all cost. They are often not widely accepted, require a stop at a bank wasting time, and paying charges. Use your ATM or credit cards. They are accepted pretty much anywhere, give you a good exchange rate, and are easy to keep track of. Traveler checks are an outdated form of taking currency on a vacation.
