Travel advice-Italy visa 365 days multi entry

i am from India,i got Italy visa far 365 days (December 2007 to December 2008) type-D,multi entry , under family reunion, i arrived in Italy on January 8 2008 and applied far permit of stay .Now i want to go back to India far 25 days ,Can i go back to India and come back to Italy on same visa issued by Italian embassy? If yes can i pass through Austria (change plane) or do i need any other document

Vernazza, Italy

These are some pictures from our visit Vernazza Italy on our Honeymoon Sept 2008. A small coastal fishing village in the Cinque Terra national park; known also for its local wines. The only access to the village is either by train or boat. Our time in Vernazza was by far the most restful and relaxing of the whole Honeymoon. It was wonderful to sit back and just appreciate the natural beauty of the area. We feasted on the locale cuisine, our 2nd night was my 35th birthday and we had a fantastic dinner of stuffed Mussels and a basil pesto on locale-made pasta called Troffie, a bottle of the locale 5Terra Pinot Grigio and a Tiramisu to finish us off. Vernazza was a jewel of this trip, every city we went to had a distinct flavour and excitement, but Vernazza was special for me.
