Travel Park regulations (Florida

KENNEDYLAWGROUP.COM

I live in a travel park   full time  year round    The site allows two people per unit.   I live alone  own the trailer  not the land.   The landlord says I must get married to have someone else live with me.     There are people in the park not married   I don't think he checks  when people come in.   Does this violate fair housing laws?  It isn't an over 55 park.    I never signed anything and no rules are posted at the clubhouse   I know he has told people they cannot move in together   Should he have rules posted and can he just change them at will?

Most people are older  and would lose benefits if they got married.

Family is the best thing in life.

This doesn't seem fair to force you to marry. I would recommend getting an attorney. Good luck.
