It's not the mountain we conquer... but ourselves

I can't say that I would necessarily make a fun trip right now to Mexico or something, but other than that I can't say that I'm going to limit myself. I'm going to Costa Rica in a month or so and we're just going to make sure that we have gotten the recommended vaccinations. What else can we do?

What you think about you bring about!!!

I have what I know will be the most 'unpopular' answer to the swine flu thing; just one simple fact: GERMS CANT LIVE IN A HEALTHY BODY.

If the great American public took better care of themselves, none of this outbreak stuff would matter.......but people being people, we then have to rely on vaccines, etc......I for one have never had a flu shot, don't intend to get one, and more than likely never will...........so if you hate my answer, that's your prerogative!!

I think whatever is going to happen is going to happen.  A trip to the grocery store can be just as unhealthy.  I'm not cutting back on travel, just taking more germ spreading preventative measures.

Well, germs do live in healthy bodies as well. But the H1N1 thing is overrated, I wouldn't stop traveling because of that.

Anyhow, you don't need to go to the flu, it will come to you anyway.

For me, traveling is an unnecessary way to get rid of a lot of money.  If you can slow down and find yourself a pleasant place to live, you'll be better off.

Too many people think they "need" a vacation and "must" see/visit this or that when all they really "need" is time to live out their days in quiet bliss.

When you are young and being educated, traveling to and working in places other than your homeland can be enriching, but to travel "someplace" just to say you've been there/seen that is silly.  H1N1 wouldn't spread as quickly if most of us stayed put.

If i could travel all the time i would. I'm not one to stay within the box. The key, I think, is to live well. Of course, if your not feeling well or run down don't fly into a plague zone. the thing about the vaccination, I just haven't decided.I'm not against vaccinating.

It's not affecting my travel plans at all. Its only the young and old that need worry, even then all the need to do is take vitamin D to boost their immune system. It's just a scare story, for the big pharma companies to make big profits with.

What ever happened to bird flu? There is massive contraversy with innoculations, in 1976 we had another supposed swine flu epidemic, they came up with a innoculation and didn't spend any time testing it, (sound familiar) more people died as a direct result of the innoculation than died of swine fever, so they had to withdraw it! whoops.

In the uk, more than half the GPs (general practitioners) said they'd refuse an enforced innoculation, nurses said the same, now councillors are saying the same.

You only get one immune system, look after it.
