Who is authorized to transfuse blood products in the state of Michigan?

I do not live in Michigan. I do live in USA. It is a process done only by professionals. Starts in the lab...blood is tested. I am going to move along to your actual question: Actual transfusion usually done by registered nurse. It is verified by another nurse. Numbers are checked and double checked as well as other information.

I am trying to learn if paramedics in Michigan are authorized to transfuse blood while transporting patients or if an MD or RN must accompany the patient.

Oh, where I live, they start the iv fluids which gives fluid volume until they get to the hospital. Here we have hospitals close in vicinity.
