The Transformers, With My Girlfriend?

It depends on what's her taste in films. I'm a girl and I'm very excited about the transformers movie, and plan to go see it sometime this week.

If this is the first time going to a movie together, I would say - choose something a little less masculine,  but if you've known each other for a while - why not?

Also, this might work as a trade - she goes with you to see a movie she's not 100% excited about and in exchange, she get to pick the movie next time or the restaurant after the movie. 

To me - Transformer's a real part of my childhood, and I can't wait to see the modern incarnation. 

When you hear that Michael Bay is the director, you can be pretty sure it's a guy movie, with lots of action and special effects.

I agree with waiting for the DVD.  There are so many other movies that you both can enjoy in the theatres.  Among mainstream movies, you could try Ratatouille or Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
