Would You Trade your Car for a Dog?

A woman traded her car for her stolen dog.

Is she crazy?

Would you do the same for your pet?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

It's not crazy at all.  As is quoted in the article she loved the dog very much and reffers to him as part of her family.  In that case money is worth less than the dog. She wanted to give a good lesson to her children.
I suggest: Open a bank account and ask people to donate 1 $ each and soon we'll collect enough money to buy back the car she dreamt about and had to use it to get back her beloved dog.  I promise to be the first and donate 20 $ (or more).  I also suggest that that lady will get a special price / reward for being "The educator of the year".  Will someone in the States take the challenge ?
I wish I could give her a big hug, she is simply a great adorable woman !.  She made my day !!!.
Best regards,

She is not crazy.  I would do the same.  A pet gives you unconditional love.  What does a car give you-- gas milage?  Cmon, a living being for an inanimate object?  I hope the choice is obvious to everyone.  And she didnt know if the person who stole her dog was abusing her dog.  the theif clearly was a person with poor values.  I HOPE EVERYONE HAS AS MUCH HEART AND WOULD PICK THE DOG.  A LIVING BEING IS ALWAYS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN AN INANIMATE OBJECT.  DONT FORGET THE VALUE OF LIFE!

Fool me once,

shame on you!!

Fool me twice,shame on me!

no,i do not think that she is crazy!i have 10 dogs and 30 some cats and i love them all!i would do all that i can to save any one of my animals!my pets are a part of my family!not only that, but all my dogs would give their lives for me,and are they not worth a car? They are worth far more than a car!they are priceless!

If someone have a pet that he really loves he can give everything to have it back! I can understand that because during the years this pet is becoming like a memeber of family. I really like animals and altough and don't have my own one yet I can imagine that I would gave everything to have a member of my family back.

Think with your head, not your a$$.

There is nothing I wouldn't do for my dogs. I would trade my world for them; I'd give up anything to get them back if they were taken from me. They are my life and my heart and anything I have is theirs. I love them with everything I am and would never be the same if something happened to them.

I think that an animal is a living thing, with emotions and a personality, a car is just an inn animated object. I hope I'm never in this situation (right now I don't have a pet or a car...) but I did spend a lot of money for cat surgery once. The cat was basically found in the street, the money could have bought me about 200 cats in the animal shelter. It's not about money value it's about love and connection.

I think that a pet becomes a part of your family, anyone who doesn't see that and willing to take responsibility (financially and emotionally) shouldn't have a pet.
