The Kapali Carsi or Grand Bazaar is probably the biggest tourist trap. It lives up to its name as big in size -about 4,000 shops spread about kilometers of alleyways, but it's expensive compared to other areas.
Another huge tourist trap is the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul (where the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Hagia Sofia are located).
