hi, can anyone give me some advice on getting a tourist visa to travel to the UK from gambia? My boyfriend is in the UK as a british citizen and i want to spend a couple of weeks there on holiday. I know i should go to the british embassy but i was wondering if anybody has any advice before i go? i have heard rumours that an invitation letter from my boyfriend is needed as proof of where i will be going and why and also that i need to have some money in my account. Any advice would be gratefully received. thank
