Toshiba 205d wont boot

I have a Toshiba 205d tha I just replaced the video cable on. Now the hard drive wont boot and the displlay wont come back on. I switched back to the cable that was causing the pixelation problem but i still cant get the Hard drive to boot. I did remove the hard drive during disassembly. Any suggestions?
