It is between the engine and the automatic transmission.
It is bolted to the flywheel that is mounted on the rear of the engine.
To replace this it is not a job for the novice, it takes a trained mechanic with right tools.
The engine and automatic transmission will need to be separated & removed.

Also if u just need to borrow a car to finish the game ask u need all r class cars all road cars and all cars but remeber dlc cars are not needed to finish the game . The bottom line with the achievments is that you need all the non-DLC cars in your garage at once
