where is the torque converter on a 1992 grand prix located?
It is between the engine and the automatic transmission. It is bolted to the flywheel that is mounted on the rear of the engine. To replace this it is not a job for the novice, it takes a trained mechanic with right tools. The engine and automatic transmission will need to be separated & removed.
