Topiramate - is it a sulfa containing drug and what exactly is it?

what is a sulfur-substituted drug? I have suffered side effects from Topiramate and am researching whether it is a sulfa containing drug. One website suggests it is an oral suphamate medication or a sulfer-substituted monosaccharide. What is a sulfur-substitute?

Topiramate is neither a sulfa or sulphite compound. It is used among other illnesses such as episodes of epilepsy or some migraines.
