It is a good book but it lacks the mystery and the thrill that I felt when I first read the “lord of the rings”, I think that if you are a big Tolkien fan you will enjoy it – but don’t get your hopes too high. One thing about the book is absolutely sure, it will sweep you again in to middle earth (a different period, though still it is middle earth!).
