No it most certainly not as anime news network claim it is suitable for mature ages because it contains mentioning of drugs, and extreme graphic violence.

There's a fair amount of blood, gore and violence, and I can't think of an 11 year old who's mature enough to watch alone. If it's impossible to resist, I suggest watching at least some of the episodes with the child, glossing over the more difficult parts, and allowing a discussion about violence, reality, fiction etc.

You see, you cant exactly say "no its too much of menchioning drugs or graphic blood, because just about all anime has that stuff, look at inuyasha! its such a kiddie anime and it has pleanty blood. I mean, you have to gage it on a child. I mean, i watched elfen lied when i was eleven, and it is the most goriest anime there is. but it didnt affect me. just ask the kid, show it to him, if it affects the child, just bann it from him/her

Gosh, that's a bit hard to say. It depends if you're frightened if that child might view much violence or if you're frightened if the kid would get scared. Yes, it is quite violent, and it does include violence. But I really don't think that the violence part makes it a mature rated show, since we all know that kids at 11 years are all guilty for viewing at least something violent. Same for drugs, sooner or later they are going to hear it somewhere in life.
