This is not something that can be done with traditional methods. I have seen some toilets set on a piece of wood cut to match the footprint of the toilet, but is not a common thing. The ring that your toilet attatches to is called a closet flange, they do make closet flange extenders which are generally 1/4 inch thick and can be stacked. Use silicone between the layers to seal then together. You may need to use longer t-bolts or longer all thread rods (thats the rods that you tighten the nuts on to hold the toilet down.) good luck.
