Do You tip every delivery guy that stands in front of your doorstep?I already pay for  grocery deliveries a huge amount and therefore I don't tip the delivery guy.  Are there certain delivery guys you don't tip?

Generally I try to be gracious, but it is all situational.  If they use a company vehicle, I normally don't give a monetary tip, but I do offer them refreshments if they have to carry something into my house.  If it's a pizza person driving their own vehicle, I tip money.  If there is already a delivery charge for the service, they usually get a percentage or all of the delivery charge, but if they are driving their own car I feel sorry for them.

Wisdom begins in wonder

In my country tipping has never become a habit. I drive a taxi myself, and tipping in 99% cases come from foreigners, but to answear your question yes I tip delivery guys, just to the next bill, I dont take coins from the delivery guy´s and in most cases not in taxi´s either. But the problem is since tipping is not a habit here (unfourtunetaly) it is often hard to tip a taxi driver, expecially the old gentelmens, they dont know how to accept it and try to give you your money back, so the whole situation becomes a bit occword. But most of my fellow countrymen wait for they´r penny.

I don't tip my grocery driver every week. If you are already paying a delivery charge, and they are driving a company vehicle I'd say tipping every time isn't necessary. But I do give them a tip at Christmas time.

I always tip, Usually 15% -20% more tward 20. It depends how far they have to drive. But i do know from talking to my boyfriends mom who has to use her own veichle for the postal service it puts alot of wear and tear on the car. So anything can help and be greatly appreciated. Also maybe you will have better serviece if you tip i know thats now how it should go but sometimes it does.

I always tip.  My feeling, if you can't afford to tip the guy a few bucks, why are you having it delivered? Get off your butt and go get it yourself.  However I DID get pissed when my local Dominos started adding the tip to the bill automatically.  So now I even have to tip when I get my pizza an hour after that "you've got 30 minutes" window and it's cold.

..brilliant.
