Time zone for marin marion county tn

My question is. I live in TN on CST. I work on EST.When I left work,it was 9:50 EST which would have been 8:50 CST.However when I got home to CST I was in the EST zone.Actually the whole county was, Did Marion county change the time zone without my knowledge?

I'm sure you mean Tennessee and I have friends who live in Grundy County and they have always been on CST and still are as far as I know. I don't know of any movement of the EST time zone to the west. How long were you gone?
