I have a pup. I want to use my small frig for one weekend. It doesn't have a battery because we usually use the elec hookup. Where we are going, there is no hookup so I need to buy a battery. How much time can I get out of a battery?
Purhcasing a heavy duty deep cycle Marine battery would be the best and longest duration of lighting power for the job. A good heavy duty deep cycle Marine battery can last up to 2 weeks if you only use about 2 of the 12 VDC lights in the Pup 2 to 3 hours per night. another cool option is these small solar panels that sell for about $60.00 and then get a cheap $19.00 dollar battery charger and a cheap $39.00 dollar battery. Then you can carge the battery by day and use as much juice as you want by night. You can use it later after the trip to charge boat and car batteries with out the 110 VAC hook up.
