Think about this one, guys

If you could do anything illegal - and knew you could get away with it without anyone finding out - what would you do?

It is easy to talk the talk.
Now it's time to walk the walk.

I suppose that if I really had to commit the ultimate crime (and get away with it) it would be that:

1.  I roped President Obama into a chair, read him back each and every one of his ludicrous campaign promises, and demanded to know why in the blazes he thought everyone would be stupid enough to believe him!

2.  I roped Rush Limbaugh into the next chair and tortured him with seventeen hours of my best original poetry unless he came up with more credible stuff to use against the Democrats!

3.  I would install a liar detector on the front of the Hall of Congress: every time a liar passed, it would emit an unbelievably obnoxious howl and drive the lying creep away!  (See Rush Limbaugh).

4.  The final and most appalling crime I would commit would be to:

A.  Declare open season on crooked attorneys.

B.  Declare open season on crooked attorneys who swore that they were honest!

C.  Give Barrack Obama an aggravated migraine, and possibly inform the entire gay community that he was coming out of the closet.  Michelle would preside over the festivities.

Oh?  You tell me that it isn't illegal, immoral, or even fattening?

Well, it's nice to think about, anyway.

Rutgers, there are a few animals we should not help with shelter, treats, etc.  They are:

1.  The lying snake.  Known to slither from one party to another, and is as cold blooded as a . . . politician!

2.  The silliest reptile ever recorded: The Monty Python!

3.  A cross-bred dog between an English Mastiff and a little Chinese breed, aka the Bull-Shi-itzu.  This breed of dog can talk, but under no conditions believe him.  He will claim to have seen UFO's, tell you how big the fish that got away were, and other things you know for a fact are outright lies!

4.  The Melon Collie.  A very sad and frequently depressed breed of dog, known to see the absolute worst of any situation.  See Obama.

5.  The chain-Stitch Afghan.  A breed of dog known for its ability to speak, but its tales have more holes than a well ventilated sieve.  See politician.

I would take out all of the drug dealers and child molesters.  It would be illegal, but the country would be a much better place.

If I could get away with it, I would:

1.  Hold Adolph Obama to each and every one of his insane campaign promises, and where he has broken them (a bunch of 'em) go public on the front page of every paper in the nation!
2.  Install a liar detector on the front door of the Congressional Building.  It would have to be a very big one, to keep from exploding with the passage of all those liars!
3.  Give Barrack Obama a boil on his ass!
4.  Make Barrack Obama eat the same food that our school kids eat in government funded school cafeterias!  If he doesn't die of ptomaine, I'd be amazed.
5.  Make sure that anyone who votes in a Presididential election is actually qualified to vote!  (No more forged registrations, tombstone voters, prison inmates, etc.)
6.  Give Obama an aggrivated migraine -- every day that he even considers telling so much as one miserable damned lie!

What do you mean, it's not illegal?

I can wish, can't I?

The question as it has been presented is too abstract for the desired effect of obtaining something that is essentially esoteric to your purpose.  With such a vague direction combined with such openness for personal interpretation; I believe that you will be hard put to find the response you seek.

The term “illegal” can only be applied to the secular meaning because to attempt to make an application on a spiritual level is impossible based on doctrine.  Therefore breaking a law that is based on biblical law does not apply here.

The second concept of your question is very personal as well and thus does involve the “you” part of the answer, unlike your response to one of the posters.  It does have to do with “reason” which is also the “why” someone would do something whether it is illegal or not.  Therefore justifying the responses dealing with "money" and "happiness" etc.

Just because it is not the answer you are seeking doesn’t mean that they are incorrect.  Therefore, no matter what the answer is that is posted to your question; it is the correct answer because of the manner it was presented.

This question was sent to me in an email that contained a number of different questions.  I read through this one to the end and found myself wondering if you actually do intend to provide the answer that you said you would.  You are currently suffering from what is called “Paralysis of Analysis” because you are attempting to guide people to the specific answer you are seeking rather than accepting what has been given to you.

The situation is hypothetical since most people are not thinking in terms of illegal other than to avoid it and quite theoretical in the sense that very few even know for sure what they would actually do if they were presented with such an opportunity.

Here are three excerpts from your postings that struck me as interesting (especially the last one which was posted 3 months ago):

Actions do include NOT doing. However, there's a better answer. It's boring, too. My friends - including my first spouse of 25 years and my psychiatrist - did not get it at all. In fact, they kinda looked at me sideways. But to me it's the most satisfyingly illegal and subversive thing a person alive today could do. And, I didn't have to think any more than 10 seconds to come up with my answer : It's that simple. I just wish I had the skill to actually do it.....

But let's stand back a bit : The question itself has nothing to do with happiness. Or money. Or even you. It's just a question of what you would do if you could do something illegal and get away with it without anyone finding out. Ever. Of course, you'd have to live with yourself, having done whatever it was that you wished you could do. So from that point of view, yes, it does have something to do with you.

Come on : Search yourself. What is your answer? In a few day, I'll post my answer. You might be surprised.

Avaloyuru,   Thank Heavens for you!

Finally, we may hear again from the person who posted this question and then did nothing but criticize our answers!!

Robinhood seems to have asked and then abscounded with the "secret" like a wolf in a sheep pen.
