Just finished watching the Thanksgiving day parade, which was beautiful. We were disappointed that no tribute to our men and women in the military was only mentioned briefly by Al Rocker at the end of the parade.

Smile, it's contagious!

It's a fun holiday parade featuring Santa Claus for the children. It's all about the children. Not military. While they are deserving, not this time. The original parade back in the 30's was all about advertising wares that could be bought for children at Macy's for Christmas and given by Santa. It had nothing to do with the military. Today's parade is traditional based on the same theme with a modern twist.
