Texting and calling back....

Why does he sometime take so long to get back to me? Sometimes it takes him forever to respond to a text or maybe a phone call. It just drives me crazy sometimes and being that I get paranoid I wonder what he is doing, etc. I know im the kind of person who would respond right away to him so its hard for me to understand why he doesnt to me. Now i know from hanging out with him he doesnt always have his cell on him like me and that might be it, but is this something I should bring up to him or will it just make me appear to needy? Sometimes it just bothers me more than others. I know guys are different than girls and like i said i get parnoid.  I just need to know how to calm myself down and if i should mention it.....but i feel like if i mention it it would just sound ridiculous!

Most guys arent like girls their not detail or chit chat people their problem solvers they dont chit chat well girls can talk forever about anything and their more open about their feelings so most likely hes either busy or doesnt know what to say. i wouldnt get upset he does eventually call you back so thats a plus because hes still responding dont chase him let him chase you

The less that you give you're a taker

Did he ever immediately respond to your texts/calls? I read your question several times, and it doesn't sound needy, it IS needy. Now most single guys will initially respond quickly to that, because it's such an easy in. However, it's not much of a challenge, and guys always need a challenge. The only other reason a guy would keep responding immediately to a needy girl would be that he feels he has let another down in the past and is trying to make up for it now. In that case, he would be projecting some need of his own onto you, but it's not really YOU he's responding to. Is that what you want? You cannot make somebody need you, so the only thing left to answer is why do you need this guy to need you so much?
