how long will a tetnus shot be sore? I had a shot on Monday and it is still extreemly sore, I have a knot at the injection site, is is raised red and hot to touch, and hurts really really bad. No other symthoms,
As far as I know, if the injection really hurts, it means you're naturally immune, which should be a good thing. I say if by the weekend it's not getting better, go see a professional.
well some people can have symptoms of swelling..hot, and red area of a tetnus for up to 2 weeks.. and some like my son are allergic to the shot itself.. he got muscle inflamation and redness for 4 weeks.. still had to get the shot tho even tho hes allergic.. no other complications happened..
