Tender head bump or lump

A bump appears on the back of a 24 year old woman's skull. Tender to the touch...no other significant symptons except a slight tingling sensation radiating into the right side of the face.  Bump is fairly large and appeared without any injury...been there about a week.  Is there any cause for alarm..?

Yes.  Any weird thing on your head should be seen by a doctor right away.  You have no idea what it is and the only way you should not be alarmed is by hearing from a doctor that you have nothing to worry about.  Be safe with your body and have it looked at.
