Temporarily sterlize teen daughter?

I read an article about teenage pregnancy and temporarily sterlizing young girls (you can see the article here) that got me thinking. If you could make the decision to temporarily sterilize your teenage daughter, would you? Is this a valid concept, or does it take away from our personal rights?

Absolutely not. This idea is only going to cause STDs to spread faster.

Along with preventing teen pregnancy we need to teach abstinence and safe sex. The way I see it is if a young girl is temporarily  sterilized, she will feel as though that gives her carte blanch to have unlimited unprotected sex.

What we need is a stronger education and support system for these young people to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Good luck and best wishes.
