A:I would say that there is no difference between the terms (degrees centigrade) and (centigrade degrees). Most probably it lies within the syntax of the language being used. In the english language, speaking and writing, the descriptive adjective is generally before the noun. In other languages the adjective is after the noun that it is describing.
