I think this is what you are looking for. Hope it helps Smile !

The Centigrade and Celsius temperature scales are two different names for the same temperature scale.

In the Celsius temperature scale the freezing point of water is defined as 0 degrees Celsius. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. Hence a Celsius degree is 1/100 the difference between the boiling and freezing point of water.

A Centigrade degree is 100/180 or 5/9 times the size of a Fahrenheit degree. That is why the factors 9/5 or 5/9 appear in the formulas to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Judging by your screen name, I presume you are a foreigner of some sort unfamiliar with the English language.  Possibly Indian, from the sounds of the screen name.  I might be wrong.

In truth, I dont even understand your question.  You want to know what the difference is by reversing the order of the words?

Nothing. Its just a linguistic quirk.  Whether its spoken one way or the other is likely due to dialect and context, but has no affect on meaning.

We all know what the speed of light is, however, I wonder, what is the speed of dark?

I would say that there is no difference between the terms (degrees centigrade) and (centigrade degrees). Most probably it lies within the syntax of the language being used. In the english language, speaking and writing, the descriptive adjective is generally before the noun. In other languages the adjective is after the noun that it is describing.

Either way, we're talking about the universal metric temperature measurement system: Celsius.

At 760 torr, water freezes at 0C, and boils at 100C.  Pressure is an essential to temperature measurement.
