Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

With all respect to Merav's answer, this approach (nice gentle introduction and straight to the point) is still an insult.  There are things one should never say (even if he thinks it's true).  Example: One is not expected to say: "You are ugly !".....  even if one puts a nice introduction B4 saying it......  It's a tough situation, and I am not sure it has a good answer.  Maybe the best thing to do is to leave a note anonimousely (so the one who gets it will never know who sent it).
Best regards,

How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar, ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).

talk about how you smell really bad.( even if u don't) He might get the picture.
