Teen who converted in danger?

Do you think this teenager (who recently converted to Christianity) is in danger if she is made to return to her Muslim parents?

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

If she was living in my part of the world the answer is yes. Since her parents live in Ohio, I don't think that her life is in danger. At least I hope it isn't.

Yes, absolutely she is in danger if she is made to return to Ohio. These type "honor" killings happen here too. Her name is Rifqa Bary if anyone wants to google and learn more about her.

God did not give me the spirit of fear, but that of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  11Timothy 1:7

I believe she is in danger.  She has been moved to a different location in Florida so apparently the Judge suspected something was just not right in her parents home.  It had been reported that officers had been called to the home because of abuse.  The mother of the girl appeared on TV and she looked like she was frightened.  Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?  I wish the best for her and hope she finds peace in her new found faith.

IF you have to find a way to approve of a friendship, you are SO NOT ready for one!!!

You probably won't like my answer but I think this girl knows her family better than we do. If she believes her life is in danger from them I would the Court would bear this in mind. She is 17 years old and I think that she is old enough to decide if she is in danger or not. And certainly old enough to decide how she should live HER life.

"They said it couldn't be done, but He did it!"

I agree with the last post -- If she feels in danger, it is likely that she is, and being 17 she can be on her own -- at least soon.
