Tattoo art thief.

This woman is a thief. she stole my copyrighted art and sells it on her website. She should be removed from this site. My name is Yoseph Middleton, owner of Tattoo Box Montreal, I've been a tattoo artist for 13 years. I have had my stuff stolen, digitally distributed, copied and even sold on ebay by her. This woman uses fake articles to draw attention to her website. The articles are written for solicitation purposes only. Amber Elvira is a public menace remove her articles and her solicitations.

Can't you do something legally to stop this women. If your art is copyrighted can't you sue her for infringement rights. It seems there should be more you can do than blast her on the internet. She needs to pay monetarily for what she's stolen from you. Have you contacted an attorney? I know I would. I wouldn't let her get away with it! Good luck and sorry to hear it happened.

The initial recourse was to contact her directly. I did so and recieved promises and apologies over the issue. She did not make good on the promises to remove my art from her site and instead ramped up her distribution to include ebay and free distribution of my property. The second recourse is to contact ICANN to file a complaint of trademark or copyright infringement. As they are the watchdog of dot com companies they tought to handle issues like this as moderators. They excepted my complaint but followed thru with saying they don't handle personal disputes. Their suggestion was to take legal action. so I would have to fly to malasia, find this jerk and sue them in malasian court. Rediculous.

So in other words your hands are tied unless you want to fly to Malasia to sue the jerk! That's kind of scary to think that people can do crap like that and basically get away with it. And ridiculous isn't a strong enough word to describe the situation. Outright chicanery is a better word! And what about ebay can't they DO ANYTHING to keep her from advertizing on their site? Wow, sounds like a real mess. I don't envy you one bit. Now I understand why you are blasting her on the internet, it's all you can do. Well good luck, maybe she'll drop dead, or someone else she's done this to will track her down and take care of her, you can only hope.
