I think about getting a tattoo on my shoulder, but I'm also quite afraid from the pain involved.
It's possible to rub an anasthetic ointment on the are, consult your tattoo parlor about it, but speaking from personal experience, the pain is really not so bad... it's also part of the expereince in a weird way...

Many tattoo parlors have recently begun offering a spray (don't know the name offhand, sorry) that is like a topical anasthetic. Like RuthP said too, the pain is part of the experience, and it isnt that bad. If you've ever had a bee sting it's about equivalent depending on the size of the tattoo you're getting. If it's your first one I'd recommend starting small to make sure you can take the pain before committing to that killer back piece you've been eyeing in the window ;)
Yes, it is possible Visit www.anestheticnews.com
