I'm on a diet. I eat salads,lectuce,one apple,one cup milk,biscuits,tea,chicken,two egg whites etc. which amounts too approx.500 calories per day. Is this diet going to help in losing weight?

Heres the problem, when your body adjusts to your daily calorie count of only 500 calories if you eat more (which you should eat at least 1200 calories min) you will put on the weight you lost in a couple days.  The best diet hands down is to eat every 2 hours or 5 small meals so your metabolism is working at a fast calorie burn rate.  You should also drink lots of water and if that is not appealling drink fruit h2o by aquafina, not smart water it has TONS of sugar.  You also should eat no later than 7:30 pm, this will also help you sleep better.  Otherwise if you do a colon cleanse try the www.blessedherbs.com  it will help you feel refreshed and empty and  you may even lose weight.  When you limit yourself foods you like you will never last , instead eat in moderation..you like chips eat one hand ful a day and enjoy each one!  Good luck
