Do you have to wait for a certain amout of time to shower after you've tanned indoors...if so ...why?

I have never heard of having to wait a certain amount of time before showering, after tanning indoors. I do know however that if you are using an accelerator cream, you can apply it again after your tan to increase increase the results much quicker. So in that case, you don't want to shower straight away.

Ok good because I was told before that you had to wait 2-3 hours after tanning to shower. I was just wondering if anyone else heard that and why...thanks so much for the reply.
