Tanks fills too slowly

all of a sudden it is taking a long time for the water to fill the tank. making you wait 20 minutes before you can flush again. I see no leaks. can you help. thank you Rita Craig

The first thing to check is whether somebody has closed down the supply valve at the wall behind the base of the toilet. Be sure it is turned completely open (counterclockwise).
