Talk the talk?

The girls here want to know about "guy things."

The guys here want to know about "girl things."

Most of the time, when I overhear guys talking (and they think I'm safely out of earshot) you'd think they were telling dirty jokes.  Most of the time, they're talking about sports or talking shop.

I can understand sports.  I watch football and baseball and even the occasional wrestling match.

But when guys talk about air powered thingamabobs and gizzratchets, I don't have a clue.

And ladies, let's not forget that guys can't stomach daytime drama, cooking shows, and mysteries.

So, out with it!

Why do guys talk shop?

Why do girls talk cooking?

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

Over seeing of guys, now that's a bod idea.

Perhaps the answer to your question is related to the fact that women like to shop and guys want to know what's cooking.

Ah, Yedda. The solution for the complexities of life.

See, that's why all my friends are women. I can't stand that bullshit small talk guys thrive on.

Why do you think we should be the same? Men and women are built different, have different roles for life,(or did have) and are wired different. Yet women still think because we both walk upright we should want the same things and talk about the same things and be the same. But we're not. So just accept it. You never hear a man asking why women can't be more like men. Because we don't want them to be, we want you different and thats why we get together, for differences.

VISION, Change and Education=PROGRESS

It goes back to our schooling.  Girls had to take sewing and home economics.  Guys had to take metals and woodworking shop.  I put my kids in the opposite classes, so they would have more in common with the opposite sex...so far in their marriages, it's working great and they are able to do more things together!
