TV versus Internet video

Do you think that commercial TV (CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.) will survive in light of Internet video?

8 thumbs up

I think there will be a clear division between internet video and commercial TV, and each will be better and gross more profits in the things that they do. But I don't think the "big ones" have really to start considering closing shop.

At the most, we'll end up with less networks.

Computers are the wave of the future.

I have to agree with Pam. While the internet is great for research, I do not think it has nor will it take away from the networks' success. In fact, I think for those who watch network series, it may even help the ratings. For those who may miss an episode, they can now watch it online and keep up to date.

I think they will survive for a few more years, but thats about it.  The internet is not going anywhere and its now a bigger media outlet already than tv and radio.
