What TV brands work in the USA

I want to purchase a TV in China if it proofs cost effective.  What brand name TVs can be used in the USA.  What should I look out for to ensure it will work in the uS

I believe they should all work, but I'd guess you need a voltage converter. As I recall, American appliances are 110 voltage while most of europe are what, 220? One assumes China is also 220. I'm just guessing. But the principle of Television construction is the same, just the voltages in different countries that change. And after all, China does build TVs for export to the US. Why the interest in buying a Chinese TV, though? I'm getting a new TV next week and I'm paying like 500 for a 32" wide screen LED at best buy. I can't imagine a Chinese brand would be better than that.

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Bonestructure is apparently unaware that there are different broadcast standards in the U.S.  Our modern sets use the ATSC system, while China uses the DMB-T/H system.  A Chinese set will not be able to properly decipher American signals.
