TRUE mortgage ownership ...
Since many mortgages were put into mortgage backed securities (MBS), and the investors took out insurance mainly from AIG to protect against default on these MBSs and then AIG and other insurance companies PAID on the default, WHY doesn't AIG OWN the defaulted mortgages? Who ACTUALLY OWNS the mortgages that were sold into MBSs or credit dfault swaps (CDS)? If the bank no longer OWNS these mortgages because they sold the mortgage, HOW can there be so many foreclosures? Please write an article about this using the information from this blog: http://www.consumerwarningnetwork.com/2008/06/19/produce-the-note-how-to/
