TMS to treat Depression

There are studies that supposedly show depression can be cured by magnets: “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)”. Do you think this is possible?

Would you consider going through such treatment and giving up medications? Would you recommend this treatment to a friend?

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

I would definitely consider going through such treatment and giving up medications if my insurance would cover it. If I found success with the treatment, I would absolutely tell my friends about it.

I have heard that magnets have been helpful in relieving pain but I doubt they could help for a depression. I did, however, hear of research going on now at the Weitzman Institute where application of electro-magnetic waves did help. This research has proved to be conclusive but at least it is a step in the right direction.
